CITY GLASS was an Australian family owned business which was established in 1969 and has been contributing to Australia’s glass needs ever since. The company invested heavily in new plant and machinery since its inception to meet the continually changing safety standards and architectural designs in Australia. On its 40th anniversary in 2009, CITY GLASS acquired a Laminating Plant allowing the company to produce, all types of laminated glass including toughened, heat strengthened, ballistic, energy efficient and sound reduction laminates. CITY GLASS continued to acquire plant and processing machines to take it into the 21st Century. CITY GLASS was located in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, Australia and was recognised as one of the biggest suppliers of toughened and laminated glass with a vision on innovation and design in architectural, energy efficient, toughened, laminated, auto-marine and ceramic coat glass.
