GlasPort Bio is a biotechnology company with offices and laboratories in Ireland and the UK. We are a small, dynamic team composed of scientists, engineers and business personnel who are passionate about making a difference to gaseous emissions from agriculture. We are open to collaboration and demonstration projects in the areas of agriculture, emissions, animal feed, anaerobic digestion, biomethane and much more. We have been awarded over 6 million euro from: EIC Accelerator program (2020-2023), ERA Net SES/SEAI (2019-2022), Gas Networks ireland (GNI) 2019, SEAI (RD&D) 2022-2025 to fund our research into the treatment of animal manures. The key focus of GlasPort Bio is to maximise the efficiency of natural resources, deriving value streams from a variety of materials, often those deemed as waste. Our technologies help to unlock ‘hidden’ commercial potential while allowing for a host of environmental benefits. We aim to play a key role in a fully integrated bio-based economy, allowing stakeholders transition to low carbon economies. GlasPort Bio is built upon 15 years of research and development, and has developed a range of innovative technologies for applications in multiple fields including agriculture, agri-food, green energy and biotechnology.
