Steve Glaser, founder, has over 20 years of experience anticipating and solving legal issues faced by business owners, including, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and operating agreements, contracts, business disputes, start up issues, choice of entity analysis, banking, real estate, employment and non-compete isssues, executive compensation and equity plans, licensing, and supply and distribution agreements. Having worked at some of the most highly regarded corporate law firms in the state and being involved in thousands of transactions, big and small, Steve is well suited to working with the privately held business. Although working on deals involving hundreds of millions of dollars was exciting, Steve found that it wasn't nearly as fulfilling as working directly with the owners, helping them grow their business, hiring more employees and improving the quality of life for many. In addition, Steve found that the economics of most law firms was an obstacle to meeting client needs, hence the genesis of GBL. GBL looks to partner with privately held small and middle market businesses by providing practical and efficient legal advice while making sure that the goals of the business remain paramount. Steve strives to be a trusted advisor to business owners, helping them sleep at night knowing that someone is worrying about their problems.
