Glad Day Bookshop is the oldest LGBTQ bookstore in the world. Serving the queer community since 1970, we specialize in offering the widest possible selection of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans literature, both in and out of print, as well as DVD, magazines, and novelties. Glad Day is also coffee shop, restaurant, and bar serving fair trade, local, handcrafted and delicious drinks. We operate Glad Day Lit, a non-profit organization that circulates funds to the LGBT2S community through grants, low-to-no-cost events, and creating an archive of community stories and resources.
