GIS Achievers Foundation is a non-profit initiative that promotes climate action and environmental sustainability through the practical use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and green skills education. We focus on schools and local communities, groups that are often left out of climate conversations despite being the most affected and responsible for the future of the environment. By starting at the grassroots, we help build early awareness and long-term environmental responsibility. GIS Achievers works with primary schools using simple, action-based lessons such as proper waste disposal, protecting water sources, avoiding open burning, and tree planting. At the secondary school level, we combine climate education with foundational green skills, including basic GIS mapping, environmental data interpretation, and sustainable practices. We also engage communities on waste management, carbon emissions, ecosystem protection, and climate resilience. Through maps, visuals, and locally relevant data, we make environmental change visible and understandable, empowering people to take informed action and make better environmental decisions for the future
