The Reservoir Inference Group (GIR-UENF) is a research group dedicated to the development of methodologies for the integrated analysis of geological, geophysical and reservoir engineering data. Currently, the researches are focused on reservoir geophysics and rock physics studies, developing, implementing and applying methodologies of: > Conventional and multicomponent elastic seismic inversion; > Signal analysis and processing to improve seismic and inversion quality; > Characterization and seismic monitoring of the reservoir through the determination of the physical properties of the porous medium (porosity, lithology, saturation and pressure); > Bayesian inference and artificial intelligence for calibration of models and estimation of petrophysical properties; > Construction of geological models based on the analysis and interpretation of seismic attributes; > Development of workflows and software applied to exploration and reservoir geophysics; > Studies of rock physics in anisotropic carbonates and rocks; > Workflows for generating and interpreting 3D and 4D attributes.
