GiPStech develops solutions for indoor positioning/localization/navigation based on geomagnetic field: precise, inexpensive, reliable. Earth magnetic field has always been used to locate and navigate: in birds migration, in man ocean navigation and more recently in GPS. GiPStech is developing an innovative technology that allows a simple smartphone to precisely navigate indoor spaces without any costly infrastructure. Thanks to our proprietary algorithms we exploit magnetic anomalies that are present in any indoor setting, and are so able to locate and guide users in indoor spaces, in a simple and effective way. Our technology is applicable to “industrial settings” as well, because it is precise - below 1m - inexpensive - no infrastructure installation required - and reliable - the “natural” guiding signal never lets you down
