Nobu, the world-renowned Japanese restaurant recognized for pioneering a new-style Japanese cuisine, started as a business partnership in 1994 between Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and his partners, Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro, producer Meir Teper, and restaurateur Drew Nieporent.
Originating in New York as the flagship restaurant, the Nobu brand is now an empire that spans five continents with over 55 restaurants and growing. Following the success of the restaurants, Nobu Hospitality opened the first Nobu Hotel in 2013 in Las Vegas and today has 38 hotels and 12 residence projects.

Dishoom is proud to be recognised as one of the best places to work in hospitality. Looking after people is at the core of what we do, and we work hard to make life at Dishoom the best it can be. Our view is that it’s part of human nature to care about making people happy. We all care about this deeply. We call this Seva. Seva means having a big, warm heart. Seva means we don’t just serve people, we take them in and look after them to the very best of our ability – guests and team alike.
Alongside running busy sites with large teams, we also believe in doing more. Each year, we pledge to plant a tree for every Dishoom-walle, continue to break down barriers through our cultural events, and support children through our Meal for a Meal initiative. As of this year, we have donated 30 million meals (and counting) to children in the UK and India, with every Dishoomwalle contributing 55 meals per shift to this cause.
Since 2010, our cafés have celebrated all of the food and drink of Bombay. We currently have cafés across London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and soon to be Leeds! Our cafés are bustling spaces where people come together to break down barriers and share in a love of Bombay food and culture.
We have Permit Rooms in Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford, Portobello Road London and Liverpool. Our bar-cafés are lively spaces, woven into the fabric of their local communities. Our genuine love of people means you’ll always be welcomed with real warmth.
Only at SUSHISAMBA will you find a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture and cuisine.
SUSHISAMBA is born of the energy and spirit of these three distinct cultures, a tri-cultural coalition that took root in the early 20th century when thousands of Japanese emigrants traveled to South America’s fertile soil to cultivate coffee plantations and find their fortune.
Equal parts imagination and history, the SUSHISAMBA experience is truly unique. Beating at the heart of SUSHISAMBA is a deep appreciation for enjoying life and celebrating with friends. Visit our locations in UK, USA, Middle East and Asia.
