Gilbert Watch began as an internet publication devoted to informing Gilbert residents and business owners on political issues affecting them. Over the years, Gilbert Watch has expanded to cover the most critical issues facing Arizona. Gilbert Watch firmly believes that the way to preserve our Republic begins at the local level. When citizens assert their Civic Authority locally, they easily transfer those skills to Arizona and America. We promote the concepts of limited government, low taxes, free enterprise, and personal responsibility. Anita Christy is the publisher of Gilbert Watch. Now retired, she was self-employed in Arizona for over 20 years, most recently as an independent health insurance broker. While living in Northern Arizona, she was a volunteer EMT, wildland fire fighter, search and rescue technician, and high angle rope rescue technician. Ms. Christy is currently the executive director of New Beginnings Pregnancy and Parenting Center in Payson, Arizona .
