Gil Wright & Associates Business Valuations specialise in providing professional Business Valuation services to a broad range of clients. The Firm was established in Queensland in 1975 by Mr Gil Wright and now offers its services to clients Australia wide. Originally, our main area of business was in brokering the purchase and sale of small, medium and large privately owned businesses. However, growth in our depth of knowledge of marketplace conditions in a broad range of industries, in combination with the abilities of our qualified and experienced professional staff, has enabled us to become well qualified to offer a business valuation consultancy service to our clients. Our consultancy employs Business Valuers specialising in various industries including manufacturing, retail and wholesaling, construction, distribution, health, transport, tourism, software development, professional service businesses (accounting, law, architecture, engineering, insurance and finance brokerage), and the real estate industry (rent rolls and sales offices). In addition, we are engaged by all levels of Government and Semi Government Departments to prepare business market valuations/appraisals and feasibility studies. In addition to our extensive experience, we have over time developed one the largest databases of business sales in Australia, enabling support of our valuations with market evidence. We have also established a strong network in a wide range of industries and markets ensuring that when comparable sales evidence is not readily available, that market evidence can be sourced or comparable risks assessed. Where sales evidence is not available we have the skills and knowledge to assess risk and adopt valuation methodologies to determine business value.
