We are GHYCZY [git-si], an artisanal design brand from the Netherlands. We create furniture that is timeless, long-lasting, and aesthetic. Unique & timeless designs At the core of his design practice, Peter Ghyczy centres technical solutions. He brings a technical approach to his designs, making them timeless, modifiable, and still reusable in the 21st century. Thus, when Peter creates a design he starts from the technical possibilities of an object - not only its form or aesthetic nature - but how it can provide a technical solution to its user. A gift for the next generation GHYCZY’s products are inspired by our aversion to throwaway culture. We want to create products that people will love and cherish. Our products consist of high-quality materials and are made to last. They age gracefully and can be given to the next generation.
