AUT Wheels & Castors has been designing, sourcing and supplying wheels and castors to UK industry since 1981. We estimate more than 60% of castors in use are the wrong specification for the job. So we start with the application, not the catalogue. Our free technical reviews look at the load, the environment and how the castor is actually used, and most customers come away with an immediate saving or a performance improvement. A quarter of everything we supply is bespoke. If we can’t manufacture it, we’ll source it. If we can’t source it, we’ll design and develop it. That’s taken us from aerospace projects carrying up to 22 tonnes to fully submerged offshore applications and high temperature environments up to 500°C.
