Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) GEUS is an independent research institution under the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities and a part of Geocenter Danmark. GEUS carries out research and advises public authorities and private sector within natur, environment, energy and mineral resources. GEUS is responsible for Scientific exploration of geology in Denmark and Greenland, including the Continental shelf areas. GEUS maps, monitors and collects data, communicates about geological matters and is the geological data centre for Denmark and Greenland.
