The technology industry has a tremendous impact on both society and the individuals shaping its future. For decades, women have remained underrepresented among the teams and leaders bringing new technologies to market. This gap has contributed to unintended bias in technology design, despite women representing nearly half of the global population. At the getWITit Columbus Chapter, our mission is to inspire more women to explore careers in technology, create an environment where they can thrive, and open pathways for women to grow into leadership roles. Our chapter works to foster an inclusive community that encourages diverse perspectives within the technology industry. Through local events, networking opportunities, mentorship, and collaboration, we aim to build meaningful connections that support women throughout every stage of their careers. We are passionate about strengthening our local technology community by bringing together like-minded professionals who want to share ideas, support one another, and drive positive change. By engaging our members through educational programming and community-focused events, we help women sustain, excel, and advance in technology careers while building relationships that last far beyond the event itself.
