Get Kids Cooking Information

Get Kids Cooking provides “portable” cooking classes, bringing our mobile kitchen to Primary schools, which link to the Curriculum. Our aim is to teach children age appropriate basic cooking skills that they will be able to replicate in the home with confidence. Furthermore the participation and family interaction that this will lead to has many social and health benefits. The classes are fun, engaging and hands on, allowing children to cook a dish from start to finish, where possible using school garden ingredients. Get Kids Cooking allows primary schools to offer cooking classes with no investment in capital infrastructure, no lesson planning by teachers, no equipment or long term commitment.
