GESTRA Engineering, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in geotechnical, structural, civil and construction materials engineering, laboratory testing and drilling. GESTRA was founded in 2000 to provide the Government, Municipalities, Engineers, Architects and Contractors with high quality and cost efficient engineering services. Our projects range in size and complexity from large infrastructure development projects to small challenging assignments. GESTRA has been recognized by the Metro Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) in 2005 and in 2006 as a “Future 50” firm, based on the rapid growth. We were awarded Wisconsin “Minority Contractor of the Year” in 2007 by The Daily Reporter and the “Inner City 100” (100 fastest growing inner city companies) in 2009 and 2010 by ICIC, a Harvard University based Organization. In 2011, GESTRA has awarded outstanding business runner up by Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). Our most recent award received was the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s “Secretary’s Golden Shovel Award” in 2015.
