We are the largest provider of health and social care services for the Jewish community in the UK. Every week, we touch the lives of 10,000 people. We can only do this thanks to our amazing professional staff of 1,500 and the 3,000 dedicated volunteers who help make our work possible. We provide services to: Older people People with mental health needs Holocaust survivors People with dementia People who care for others who have a variety of needs – e.g. mental health, older people, people with disabilities People with MS, Parkinson’s, strokes and those who are visually impaired People who are bereaved and those recently separated We also provide youth leadership opportunities, recreational, educational, and cultural programmes, as well as half-term schemes. Since its founding in January 2005, Moving Traditions has championed impact-focused youth-serving programs at the intersection of gender, wellbeing, and Judaism. Along the way, we’ve partnered with hundreds of synagogues, JCCs, camps, day schools, and emerging organizations and we have trained thousands of educators and clergy to meet the needs of Jewish preteens and teens. Today, 18 years of research and careful program evaluation shows just how well Moving Traditions strengthens Jewish educators, emboldens preteens and teens, and engages families.

UJIA changes lives by investing in young people in Israel and in our Jewish community. In the under-resourced Galil region we are creating new educational and employment opportunities through schools, colleges and community projects. In the UK we underpin the crucial ladder of Jewish and Israel engagement, by supporting youth movements and organisations, schools and educational programmes in Israel.
