We were one of the first Dutch manufacturers to introduce our own brand to the market in 2002 and we have since developed into a true concept in the solar shading industry. We believe we are the brand which gives people great tools for life, with means and ways which can create beautiful moments.

In 1946, richtte Joe Hunter en Henry Sonnenberg een nieuw bedrijf op, genaamd the Hunter Douglas Machinery Corporation. Door het combineren van hun expertise en kennis wilden ze samen een nieuw verwerkingsproces voor lichtgewicht aluminium ontwikkelen. Binnen een paar jaar leidde hun samenwerking echter tot de uitvinding van een product dat de raambekledingsmarkt voor altijd zou veranderen; de horizontale aluminium jaloezie. Deze horizontale jaloezie werd in 1951 geïntroduceerd in Europa onder de naam Luxaflex®. De functionaliteit en het design van de jaloezieën maakte dat het eerste echte alternatief voor gordijnen al snel zeer geliefd werd onder vele Europeanen. Als erkend Europees marktleider zette Luxaflex® haar geschiedenis van ontwikkeling en innovatie door tot in de 21ste eeuw. Het merk bleef continu nieuwe productlijnen toevoegen aan haar portfolio, en won vele prestigieuze prijzen voor baanbrekende innovaties

STOREX Controlled Atmosphere is specialised in CA/ULO technology for storing fruit. Storex is the result of more then 40 years of combined experience. In those years we have done projects all around the world, through a network of agents and distributors. With our specialty, the CA/ULO technology, we create an atmosphere by regulating the oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen concentrations. Further we regulate the temperature and humidity. From the start of Storex, in 1996, we use the CA technology for storing fruit and we constantly try to devellop technologies to improve the quality of the fruit in the cool cells. Since a few years we are able to use our CA technology also in other markets. By creating a low oxygen atmosphere, we are expanding in the markets for fire prevention, insect control and high altitude training.
