Geosense is a leading provider of Aerial Photography, LiDAR, Mobile Mapping and Ground Surveys across sub-Saharan Africa, with offices in Cape Town and Centurion in South Africa. Founded in 2000, Geosense has pioneered the use of digital aerial photography in Southern Africa, flying aerial imagery surveys for both Government and clients within the mining, utilities and telecommunication sectors. In 2011, Geosense was acquired by Getmapping plc with the specific aim of bringing Getmapping's innovative range of Products and Services to the African market, including Oblique Imagery, Height and LiDAR Data, and Managed Data Services.
