Population growth, climate change, and poor management of natural resources, among other factors, have put people and their livelihoods in danger. Many individuals, communities, governments, and industries make decisions that alter ecosystems and livelihoods because they do not have a reliable way to analyze information that enables informed decision making. Innovation and integration of geospatial technologies can help inform decision-making processes that lead to long-term ecosystem health and better livelihoods.
