GEOESTUDIOS is a company with vast experience and recognized merits, dedicated to providing advice, conducting research and consulting in areas such as glaciology, snow and avalanches, natural hazards, hydrology and hydrogeology, and geotechnics, among other areas and disciplines derived from geology. Established in 1981 by the association of professionals who had worked together since 1979, it has finally operated as a limited liability company since 1985. GEOESTUDIOS is the main consultancy firm for glaciological studies in Chile, extending its activities in this area to other countries such as Argentina and Peru. It has specialized personnel led by Dr. Cedomir Marangunic, a geologist with a doctorate in glaciology and more than 40 years of experience in glacier research.
