GEOCONTROL is an independent engineering firm founded in 1982, specialising in the design and construction control of underground works: tunnels, shafts and caverns built using NATM, tunnel boring machines (TBM and EPB) and cut-and-cover methods. Its areas of expertise include ground engineering, civil works for tunnels and underground structures, tunnel installations (fire protection, safety, ventilation and power supply) and environmental engineering. Its services cover the entire life cycle of an infrastructure: preliminary studies, design, construction control, operation and maintenance, in the transport (metro, rail, high-speed rail and roads) and water sectors. GEOCONTROL has designed 1,670 km of tunnels and supervised the construction of 575 km. It works primarily for public-sector clients on top-tier projects, and its independence from contractors, manufacturers and financial institutions ensures objective solutions focused on technical merit and infrastructure safety.
