Genvon Group Limited Information

Established in 1995 and listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (Stock Code: 2389) in April 2002, Genvon Group Limited is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of power tools, air tools and hand tools, and properties development. The Group has always been in the pursuit of innovation, adapting to the market changes of power tools and pneumatic tools. The Group continue to improve the products' quality and the introduction of new products. In 2009, the Group further strengthen the internal management systems for its production plants and successfully passed management system certificates of ISO9001: 2008, ISO14001: 2004 and GB/T28001-2001 awarded by CQC. ERP based modules were fully put into practice in the plants as well. In recent years, China's rapid economic growth and urbanization has promoted a very strong demand in the real estate market. As such the Group is constantly monitoring the development of the real estate market in China and looking for opportunity to expand into this business. In 2008, the Group acquired a plot of land in Shanghai with a site area of around 57,045 square meters. One rationale behind this acquisition is that it can help to strengthen the Group against the financial risks and a diversification from the manufacturing business. The land, which is situated in Minhing District, Shanghai, is adjacent to Shanghai Metro Line 5. The project is expected to completed during 2011. In 2010, the Group, joining with a 30% minority investor, further acquired a piece of land in Jiangsu with a site area of approximately 249,000 square meter. The construction of the Jiangsu project will commence in 2012.
