GenomSys Information

GenomSys is a health software company building the tools that make genomic data efficient, portable, and secure. As genomic applications spread and data volumes grow, labs and clinical programs face mounting pressure on storage, interoperability, and software robustness. Our platform is built on the ISO/IEC 23092 genomic standard, better known as MPEG-G, "the MP3 for genomic data", which we help shape as active contributors to the standard. Everything lives in a single self-describing container, so raw reads, assemblies, alignments, variants, and their metadata stay together and never fall out of sync. Applications can stream and selectively access just the region they need, rather than re-downloading and re-processing a whole sample, and per-object access controls with native encryption let data owners govern access at a fine grain. Lossless compression means lower long-term storage costs and faster transfer, and because the format is an open ISO standard with backward compatibility, data stays portable across tools and vendors. Because it runs on the customer's own infrastructure, genomic data stays inside their network. GenomSys is an ISO 13485 certified manufacturer of software for medical devices.
