Genman Ltd is the holding company of Genaire Manufacturing Ltd and the power development principle of the group. Genaire Manufacturing Ltd manufactures and supplies power generation and standby power equipment from 2kWe to 3000 kWe, UPS systems, low voltage switchboards, control systems, monitoring equipment and micro power systems. Genman Ltd markets all the products manufactured by Genaire Manufacturing and also builds, owns and operates power stations up to 600 MWe. The power stations prime power equipment is supplied mainly by Rolls-Royce, Zorya Mashproekt, Kaluga and Siemens UK Ltd and the EPC contracting is undertaken by EUROPOWER a division of Commissioning Italia spa and member of the Sofinter Group. EUROPOWER and their partners install and commission all the ancillary equipment which would make up a combined cycle power plant, including the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) the steam turbines, the HV switchgear, construction and cabling. Engineering and project management would be provided by Genman Ltd and MWe Consult in the United Kingdom. Genman has been involved in alternative energy research since 1997 under the banner of Genaire Manufacturing Ltd and was incorporated in the United Kingdom in 2004 for the purpose of development of power systems technology. The company is at present negotiating manufacturing rights for diesel and gas engines from 6MWe to 25 MWe and micro turbine systems from 5kW to 200kW. A large proportion of the staff come from Rolls-Royce Power Engineering Ltd and have expertise in the development and project management of power stations from 5MWe up to 600 MWe utilising diesel and gas reciprocating engines and aero derivative gas turbine combined cycle plants.
