Genfindit is a web site dedicated to the genealogy community. Its goal is to provide creative and cost effective answers to genealogical problems. Our Vital Records Ordering Service was the first web-site offered in a range of Genfindit services launched. This year we also launched a Wall Chart program called My Ancestor Chart. In the 8 years of service we have supplied thousands of genealogy documents including certificates, transcripts and photocopies to our valued clients. Your host, Julian van der Veer has been researching family history since 1991. Julian was born in Holland and migrated to Australia with his parents when he was five. He married an Aussie girl of Scots/Irish/English decent. He had such a difficult time discovering the ancestry of her Irish great grandfather. His research experiences led to a lifestyle career change which has now became a business called Genfindit. We have clients all over the world, about a third each to UK, USA/Canada and Australia/NZ. Most clients return to Genfindit for further research again and again. Through Genfindit sources we can offer faster service than most UK based agents. He is a member of the Society of Australian Genealogists (SAG) and a volunteer at a local LDS Family History Centre. He has been a guest speaker at SAG Scottish & Irish Interest Groups as well as Scottish/Irish Seminars in the Sydney region of Australia.
