Genetipetz is a family business started in Charlotte, NC in 2012 by Chris & Carolyn Meade. Wanting to teach their two boys, Jackson and Cavan, about business, Chris & Carolyn launched Genetipetz on the popular crowd-funding site KickStarter where the toys became the biggest plush stuffed animal project at that time. Genetipetz have gathered momentum from a large and loyal Facebook fan club, been seen at Toy Fair in New York City and the creators were even cast for a hit reality TV show for entrepreneurs. These wacky and wild toys are now hitting store shelves across the country and you can be among the earliest customers to catch this hot new toy that celebrates science and diversity! Genetipetz animal combinations are suggested by and voted on by kids. The winning designs are made into the softest, most huggable and coolest stuffed animals in the world! Genetipetz are also the first and only stuffed animals to contain unique DNA. A waterproof chip inside each toy contains that animal’s unique DNA code and can be scanned with compatible smart phones and tablets to unlock online games and features.
