GenERAtion Ratify, the youth-led movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, was founded in July of 2019 by a few 15-year-old kids at a public library in Arlington, Virginia. Our mission is to correct the historical exclusion of women and people beyond the binary from our Constitution by mobilizing youth across the country to take action to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment and advance gender equality. To do this, we educate around and advocate for gender equality legislation, elect officials who support our mission, and empower women-identifying, non-binary, gender nonconforming, and femme folx to uplift their political voices.
