Gemma Services Information

Formed in 2019 by the merger of two longstanding nonprofits both founded in the 1800s as orphanages (Silver Springs – Martin Luther School and theVillage), Gemma is guided by the vision of a world where every person knows they matter. Gemma accompanies people of all ages through life’s challenges using individualized, data-informed support. With four locations in the Greater Philadelphia region, Gemma provides a range of mental health, child welfare, and prevention services, as well as special education through an Approved Private School (Martin Luther School) with a K-12 special education program and a K-5 autism-centered program (Visit martinlutherschool.org for more info). More than 3,000 individuals and families participate in Gemma’s programs each year.
