Gelatissimo Artisan Gelato was established in September of 2005 with the desire to bring authentic Italian gelato to the U.S. Located in New Canaan, CT, Gelatissimo makes genuine Italian gelato from scratch, based on imported Italian gelato paste. Gelatissimo offers a variety of gelato flavors averaging 18-22 per day. A few of our classic flavors include our wildly popular mint chocolate chip, cioccolata (chocolate), stracciatella (vanilla chocolate chip), pistachio, hazelnut, and a variety of non-dairy options. We also offer seasonal flavors, such as candy cane persimmon, pumpkin and apple cider in the fall, as well as specialty gelatos such as goat cheese and figs, blackberry and basil, and lemon and mint.
