Foodland is "Food, Family, Friends & Aloha."
Our founder, the late Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan, had a great vision – that of a family-run, community-focused company that put customers first. Today, with 29 stores and more than 3,400 employees, his vision is still very much alive.
As Hawaii's largest locally owned and operated grocery retailer, we are committed to building both a better shopping experience and a better Hawaii. We firmly believe that our community benefits from having a strong, local supermarket. And we are dedicated to being a leader in serving Hawaii's shoppers.
Our fun-loving team members produce award winning coffee and tea to enrich our customers' lives and make Hawaii a better place to live. We work hard and do the right thing.
Consumers love our fine Lion, Royal Kona, and Royal Hawaiian coffee sourced from Hawaii and around the world. We are also home of the Hawaiian Islands Tea Company, Hawaii's only locally made tea. More can be learned about these brands at their respective websites.
The Hawaii Coffee Company is located in Kalihi on the island of Oahu. Our 55,000 sq. ft. roasting facility is open Monday-Friday with free tours daily; also visit our Lion Café & General Store with a full lineup of coffee drinks and selected coffees.
