GDA (Gloucestershire Deaf Association) Information

Empowering and Connecting deaf and hard of hearing people for over 100 years. We work with people with all forms of deafness, whether hard of hearing, deafened, deafblind or profoundly deaf, including British Sign Language (BSL) users. We work to eliminate the exclusion, isolation and lack of access to mainstream life that deaf people face. We envision an equitable, accessible environment where deaf people can live confidently with their hearing loss in fully-resourced, empowered lives of connection and meaningful participation with community. We provide Interpreters, BSL and lipreading Classes, Wellbeing Support, Support for children, Young people and their Families and Specialist equipment and resources.
