Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB) is an award-winning firm of architects, urban and master planners, interior, landscape and structural designers, engineers, quantity surveyors and project and design managers with a truly inimitable portfolio. Founded in 1966 as the first architectural and engineering consulting firm in Qatar, AEB brings 56 years of experience to the construction industry. As a key member of the State of Qatar’s formidable industrial base, Qatalum is a primary aluminium smelter. Qatalum has a production capacity of 625,000 tonnes of high-quality primary aluminium products per annum. Located approximately 50 km South of Doha, Qatar, the site includes a port, carbon plan, twin 1.2 kilometer potlines, storage facilities, and a captive power plant. Qatalum is ISO 9001 certified, listed on the London Metals Exchange, and has received ISO/TS 16949 certification for its casthouse.
