GAVILAN HILLS UNITY CHURCH Information

We are an independent New Thought church and a member of the "Association for Global New Thought". We are a: spiritually centered, practical, positive church that expresses Love and Acceptance through our membership and our interaction with the community. We see ourselves as integrating our spiritual lives with our daily lives, as we learn to seek the Truth, and share Love, Peace, Joy, Harmony, and Beauty with each other and the world. We share the practical tools that allow us to live Life to the fullest with humor and self-actualization. We share the value of non-judgment and enlightenment in a freeing of our true natures through conscious contact with Divine Guidance. We are a fun-loving, happy group that delights in sharing with our fellow beings on the planet. We share our individual gifts with our church and each other by acknowledging the Power within each and every one of us. What is our purpose? To provide Space for the awakening of Divine Self through affirmative thought, Love and a reverence for all Life. To provide Education programs, workshops, seminars, and other study groups, in order to discover together new understanding of our Spiritual Selves. To provide Spiritual Expression through our Sunday worship celebration: music, speakers, meditation, prayer, discussion, and togetherness; our Course in Miracles study group and prayer circle; our meditation practice group; and other forms that will develop as we learn and grow together. To provide Communication through our website, our metaphysical bookstore and lending library, our monthly newsletter, and our Sunday bulletins. To provide Fellowship though Sunday worship and after-worship workshops discussions, potlucks, newsletter-folding "parties", receptions, etc.; other church socials and gatherings; our annual Christmas caroling and other forms of community outreach.
