At Gateway Hospice, we provide our patients and their families with a wide array of tailored services and support during a difficult time. With locations in the Pittsburgh and Washington, PA, we work with patients throughout the following counties, providing care wherever they call home: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland Our compassionate, qualified providers offer quality services for patients and families. With a long-term and experienced team, we offer continuity of care. With our regional focus, patients will have the same team throughout hospice care. We offer around the clock care. The goal of Gateway Hospice is to help patients have a comfortable experience, reduce pain, and manage symptoms of life limiting illnesses when medication or treatment is no longer effective or wanted. We provide patients and their loved ones with support, guidance and peace of mind. We respond to their needs when they arise, with a dedicated, full-time, on-call team for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our team consists of: full time Nurse Practitioners, On-call staff for after hours, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Hospice Aide/Homemaker, Social Worker/MSW, Spiritual Care, Bereavement Chaplains, Volunteers, Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapies, Dietary Consultants, Specialized Hospice Pharmacy Services with 24/7 availability and delivery. We treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—not just the disease.
