Gateway Graduate School Information

The Gateway Graduate School was founded in 2008, keeping in line with the vision of the renowned educationist Late Mr. R.I.T Alles, founder Chairman of the Gateway Group, in order to provide the opportunity to students to complete industrial recognized degrees and diplomas, at an affordable price in Sri Lanka or transfer to reputed foreign universities. The Chairman of the Gateway Group, Dr. Harsha Alles, acknowledges that their recent affiliations with University of Nottingham (Malaysia Campus), University of Worcester, UK, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, USA, and University of Canterbury, New Zealand, would widen the scope for students to start the Foundation year and/or the first year of study in Sri Lanka and complete the Degree in highly international ranked universities. Gateway Graduate School in partnership with NCC education UK, offers a choice of two career pathways to complete Degrees in Business or Computing in Sri Lanka. In both Degrees, on successful completion of the first and the second years students are able to receive industrial recognized qualifications – Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas, from NCC education UK. Students have the option of completing the full programme in Sri Lanka or transferring to overseas universities in UK, Malaysia, New Zealand or Australia at the end of every academic year. An additional International Foundation Programme is available for students who wish to join after Sri Lankan or London O/L. In addition, the Graduate School offers the Pearson Edexcel Professional Diploma in Teaching and Professional Diploma in Advanced Teaching, for those who aspire to enhance their pedagogical skills. The Masters in Education, offered in Sri Lanka for the very first time is delivered by the fly-in campus of the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus.
