GasTech Solutions Information

GasTech Solutions is a green energy startup division of Control Infotech Pvt. Ltd. which in turn is a part of CI Group with global businesses conducted from India and the USA. Gastech promotes Dual Fuel technology for high speed Diesel engines. As a part of implementation of Dual Fuel technology an existing Diesel engine can be retrofitted with a simple kit to operate with a mix of Methane rich gases (For example Natural Gas) and Diesel. This conversion helps reduce the cost of fuel and the harmful contents of the engine emission for the same amount of electrical energy produced. Engine life and the operational safety are not affected. Dual Fuel conversions are used mainly for Power Generation and Transportation applications. Gastech is working on Direct Injection (DI) technology for Dual Fuel conversions of slow speed diesel engines. Dialogues are on for close cooperation on this effort between NCCRD – National Center for Combustion Research at IIT Madras.
