Gary Rose Training Information

Gary Rose Training provides training in evidenced based approaches to effective health behavior change for professionals in the fields of general and specialist medicine, social services, addictions treatment, criminal justice, and mental health. With the goal of integrating scientifically proven techniques into current practice, Gary Rose Training is dedicated to flexibility in all aspects of the design and delivery of behavior change training. We provide training workshops in Motivational Interviewing and offer e-learning, individualized skill development and coaching. Motivational Interviewing is an evidenced based approach to talking with clients about the whys, when's, and how's of health-risk reduction and behavior change. Based upon the tenet that client's must first have "open ears" before clinicians can effectively inform, educate, or negotiate health behavior change, MI employs strategies that will enhance the client's motivation for and commitment to change.
