Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is the third largest public school district in the state of Texas with more than 115,000 students enrolled. CFISD has 12 high schools, 20 middle schools, 59 elementary schools and 5 special campuses.
During the 2019-2020 school year, the district employed 7,697 teachers, 2,610 paraeducators, 3,658 special service personnel, and 1,701 professional/administrative/support personnel for a total of 15,666 employees.

German immigrants formed the school district in 1928. Klein ISD is a Recognized District with the Texas Education Agency. The district has more than 47,900 students, and it employs about 6,100 people. The center of the district is 40 minutes from downtown Houston.
