Gardening by Design Information

Monica’s career focus is the design and development of garden landscapes. She uses her teaching, planning and core understanding of botany and spatial organization, to support her client’s needs for beautiful spaces. Monica works with institutional and residential clients to understand the possibilities and constraints of their sites, introduces and teaches them about the plants that will work, and consults with them to understand their needs and preferences. With unique tools to help them think about their vision, preferences, and priorities, Monica and her clients build a sustainable garden design together. She works to bring teams of professional installers and construction workers to implement the project, and maintain it if required.
