For over 60 years GAP Gruppo Piantoni has provided services to the major steelworks in Italy. In the field of subsidiary services for the industry, GAP Gruppo Piantoni is a national landmark, and the firm collaborates with various major groups, including: ABS, Arvedi Group, Brembo, Cogne Acciai Speciali, Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Tubes Italia, Duferdofin-Nucor, Feralpi, Lucchini RS and Tenaris. Since 2011, Gruppo Piantoni has begun a new phase of expansion beyond national borders. As evidenced by the firm's close collaboration with Tenaris (already supplied by GAP at its Italian premises in Dalmine and Costa Volpino) at their production plant in Calarasi, Romania; as well as collaborations with Interpipe in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, Duferco-Makstil in Skopje, Macedonia and ABS in Sisak, Croatia.
