Gantech AS Information

Its first activity was to acquire shares in Petroleum Technology Group AS (PTG), a company which already had made several investments in other companies. PTG was an active owner in TecWel AS from 2001 until TecWel AS was acquired by Archer Norge AS in July 2008. TecWel AS is a service company to the petroleum industry providing Cased Hole Logging Services to E&P companies all over the world. In addition PTG had a 100% ownership PTG Consulting AS, a company supplying consulting services and highly skilled professional consultants to the petroleum industry in Norway, Denmark and UK. PTG Consulting AS was established in 2001 under the name of Petroleum Engineering & Consulting AS (PE&C). In June 2009 PTG Consulting AS was acquired by Acona AS. Back in March 2002 Gantech AS established a company called ByiByen AS together with several partners. The mission of ByiByen AS was to take part in property development of real estate in the city of Bergen. In 2011 ByiByen AS was acquired by Alin Invest AS. In April 2009 Gantech AS established a wholly owned subsidiary called Norali AS. The mission of Norali AS is to develop equipment for artificial lift to be used in oil producing wells with insufficient reservoir pressure to sustain production of hydrocarbons. In all of these projects the management of Gantech AS has had an active role both in the BOD and in daily activities as President, CEO or General Manager.
