GAMDAN Optics manufactures nonlinear and laser crystals, including LBO, BBO, KTP, RTP, KGW and Nd:YVO4, in San Jose, California. We supply high-power laser, defense, fusion energy, quantum computing, medical and industrial OEMs worldwide. GAMDAN was founded by Dr. Sitai Lin, a veteran crystal grower, and officially incorporated in 2006 primarily to grow LBO in the US. Since then, we have focused on delivering super low absorption optical crystals with UV-grade super-polished surfaces and high damage threshold coatings to achieve the highest lifetime and stability for the most demanding OEM applications. Our mission is to enable high power visible and UV generation by consistently delivering top quality nonlinear optical materials, meeting or exceeding all customer specifications. GAMDAN LBO offers a high laser damage threshold and ultra-low bulk absorption (~1.3 ppm/cm at 1064 nm, independently verified), making it a great choice for green, blue and UV conversion and fiber lasers. Every part is tracked from synthesis to packaging under a Quality and Traceability system based on FDA and ISO guidelines. Fabrication procedures are documented and followed precisely by trained technicians, and every shipment includes an inspection report and traceability data.
