Gallery Spaces Information

Gallery Spaces is an independent organisation which manages hireable gallery spaces in Bristol. Run by the same team behind Antlers Gallery, headed by Director Jack Gibbon, the rentable venues give a platform and testing ground for new and exciting ideas. These hireable units give artists, galleries, collectives and online or start-up businesses a physical shop front – allowing them the opportunity to meet people, grow audiences and experiment. Gallery Spaces aims to promote pop-up culture in the belief that the direct feedback from such projects can prove invaluable for future planning and is a key element in the contemporary retail market. The uniting factor between all the projects hosted by Gallery Spaces is the uppermost quality in both product and execution. Amongst Gallery Space’s portfolio of previous collaborations are: Nothing but Navy, the University of West of England (UWE), Dot to Dot Productions, Coates and Scarry, Rainmaker Gallery and Clifton Fine Art. Gallery Spaces aims to promote and exhibit contemporary and independent projects. The units affiliated with Gallery Spaces are: Philadelphia Street Gallery (2011-2013), Christmas Steps Gallery (2013-present), Penn Street Gallery (2013-January 2014), Purifier House (March 2014 – July 2014).
