Galerie Mélanie Rio Fluency Information

Melanie Rio Fluency, founded in Nantes in 2009, is a contemporary art gallery and a multi-faceted participant in the world of contemporary art. The gallery produces art projects, proposes temporary exhibitions and partnerships with art centres, as well as advisory services for companies. Formerly melanieRio, the gallery changed its name and structure in late 2017, and moved to a new space designed by Unité architects + Eduardo Souto de Moura. Located on the Île de Nantes at the heart of the effervescent art scene of Nantes, the gallery represents a dynamic roster of fourteen artists and is now dedicated to presenting a dynamic programme of contemporary art events associating short exhibitions, invitations to art publishers, and partnerships with cultural entities including the school of arts, music platforms and designers. Our space in Paris hosts meetings and punctual events with artists and collectors, especially during fairs like Paris Photo.
