GALACTIC PRODUCTIONS has come a long way since then, and has provided mobile disc jockey entertainment to thousands of happy partygoers. While our main focus is the corporate sector, we still do many weddings and private parties, all with the same strong commitment to high quality. In 1979 with headphones in hand, it was off to Japan, where he worked three different nightclubs. In 1980, he was instrumental in developing a major retail success. Sam was brought in to develop an in-store disc jockey concept for THE FACTORY, a retail clothing store in downtown Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks. He designed and installed the sound systems in each store, trained the store disc jockeys, and wrote the in-store commercials. Within three years it went beyond any and all expectations. Soon, other retail stores tried to copy the concept. In 1983 it was on the road again with a short stint working on a cruise ship in South America as sound man and disc jockey.
