Before most teens were driving she could be found working at her father's motorcycle shop and learning as much as she could about motorcycle dealerships. She was a studious learner and soon found herself as a Finance Manager in a dealership. Harley-Davidson took note of her performance, as she was the top finance manager in the entire country from 1985 to 1988. This led to Harley-Davidson's main office hiring Gail to lead a national finance seminar for them. With her at the helm as general manager, from 1997-2013 Gail's Harley-Davidson was recognized in the top 15% of Harley Dealerships for customer satisfaction.
