G-FINISHING CUSTOM FIBERGLASS, LLC Information

We are a Jacksonville fiberglass repair company which now also manufactures custom boats. We use the highest quality materials and build the traditional way - hand-laid fiberglass. After running G-Finishing Custom Fiberglass for 3 years Steve has taken the next step, to build custom boats as well as carrying on fiberglass repairs. Steve took over the company in March and wants to bring his 25 years experience in boat building and fiberglass repairs to Boggy Creek Boats. Steve and his family moved over to the US in 2013 to set up G-Finishing Custom Fiberglass to apply his skills and knowledge to the Florida market. G Finishing has a 5000sq ft workshop in Jacksonville but travels all over Florida to complete work. Steve Gale was the founder of G-Finishing Ltd in the UK and had been in business for over 10 years before moving to the US. With 25 years experience in the fiberglass industry Steve has worked as a Laminator, Finisher and Sprayer. Steve started his career in car body work and spraying, moving into the boat industry in 1997 making racing Catamarans from Kelvar also smaller dinghy's and racing yachts from GRP. Here Stephen learnt his skills as a Laminator. Steve moved on to become a Finisher with Oyster yachts a world class yachting manufacturer. After learning the skills of high quality finishing and with 8 years of experience behind him Steve decided to setup G- Finishing Ltd in the UK. Steve has worked closely with many manufacturers like Maxum and Jeanneau completing warranty work to the highest standard. G-Finishing UK was also a sub-contractor to BAE Systems repairing Naval fiberglass ridgid inflatable boats. The contract involved being on 24hrs emergency call out, working to very tight deadlines and travelling all over England and Scotland. G-Finishing moved in new areas making car body molds and shells for car racing teams, repairing flat roofs, RV's, swimming pools, showers and much more.
