Future Yard is a new 300-capacity live venue at 75 Argyle Street. This new community venue will bring some of today’s most exciting new national and international artists to Wirral, while at the same time providing key early performance opportunities for emerging local musicians. As well as a venue, Future Yard is an artist hub with basement rehearsal studios and a development programme to help artist members to grow their careers. A number of training programmes are also run alongside all activity, providing key opportunities for young people from the local area to get the first step on the ladder in the live music industry. Future Yard is working towards becoming the first carbon-neutral grassroots music venue in the North of England, and one of the first in the UK. The building is open 7 days a week as a coffee shop, bar, events space and kitchen, with a busy programme of activities. #thefutureisbirkenhead
