By doing so, individuals entering the health field will not only be physicians, but also knowledgeable politicians and researchers with a medical standpoint. Lacking knowledge of health-related politics and medical research will produce a next generation of physicians that lack professionalism and the holistic fundamentals that ultimately comprise a great physician.
